A jarring and violent work, it was commissioned by the London Sinfonietta as part of its Sinfonietta Shorts program. It also serves at the third movement of the cello suite how it begins / how it ends, commissioned by American cellist Brian Snow. The world premiere of our sickness will take place at the London Sinfonietta’s World Premiere Wednesday, a private breakfast event on Wednesday 25 July 2018, 8.30-10.00am at Rotunda Private Dining Room, Kings Place.
